Cytopathology Department

Sigal Medical Laboratory is pleased to announce the establishment of its Cytopathology Department, further strengthening its comprehensive pathology services.

The Cytopathology Department specializes in the microscopic examination of individual cells to aid in the diagnosis of inflammatory, infectious, precancerous, and malignant conditions. Services include Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), gynecological and non-gynecological cytology, Pap smear examination, and body fluid cytology.

All cytology specimens are processed and reported by experienced cytopathologists using standardized techniques in accordance with international guidelines. Strict quality control, proper specimen handling, and accurate reporting ensure reliable and timely diagnostic results.

With the launch of the Cytopathology Department, Sigal Medical Lab continues its mission to provide high-quality, accurate, and patient-centered diagnostic services, supporting clinicians in early detection and effective disease management.
