Micriobiology Department

Sigal Medical Laboratory is pleased to announce the establishment of its Microbiology Department, expanding its diagnostic capabilities in the detection and management of infectious diseases.

The Microbiology Department provides comprehensive diagnostic services including bacterial culture and antibiotic susceptibility testing, fungal culture and identification, tuberculosis (TB) culture and AFB microscopy, and routine microbiological examinations. All testing is performed in accordance with CLSI and WHO guidelines using standardized procedures and strict biosafety measures.

The department is staffed by qualified microbiologists and trained laboratory professionals, ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely results to support appropriate antimicrobial therapy and infection control.
